We aim to take you much further than the minimum test standard during your 5 day intensive course

You will be confident, safe and embrace continual improvement with our teaching methods

How you will spend your 5 days

The courses run from 9.00 am to 5.00pm weekdays. When you arrive at the centre on Monday morning you will be fully briefed on the course and introduced to your qualified course tutor. The morning sessions are classroom based where you will be preparing for your mock Theory Test and hazard perception with our instructor using the latest training techniques. You will take your Theory Test later in the week, when you have consistently passed your mock tests. Your Theory Test will be pre booked on your behalf.

You will receive on the road presentations and training on elements of the practical test which has two proven benefits:

  1. It dramatically reduces kerb side instruction associated with conventional weekly lessons, offering a more focused, practical and structured learning environment.
  2. You spend more time actually driving a car and less time unnecessarily discussing lesson plans and theory.

The mid morning and afternoon sessions are spent with your DSA approved driving instructor on a one-to-one basis. You will receive the highest quality, practical and theory training to prepare you for your practical test. After each day you will return to the centre for feedback. If needed we can adapt your lesson plan and fine tune your training as required.

How do we know our courses work?

Go Go Go Intensive training has been developed by acknowledged experts. Our Director of Training Director and our Operations Director, a qualified Driving Examiner, are both highly respected for their work with the Military Forces and the Police - the ultimate standard by which driving is measured.

Both Directors have made significant contributions to developing training plans from new recruits who simply need a driving licence, through to advanced levels such as Police pursuits. We know that intensive courses work as the Military and Police are currently using our methodology. Both Directors are still involved in training with highly respected motoring organisations. We appreciate that our courses may not be for everybody but with the right commitment to learning you should be successful in gaining your driving licence quickly and cost effectively.

How does progressive learning work?

Generally students achieve progress through 3 layers of learning; knowledge, understanding then skill. The current system for provisional driver training is significantly flawed primarily through the chronology. Students are left for a week until their next lesson where the learning rescinds due to the gaps between each lesson. It is easy to take a step backwards as the learning steps are not progressive. This is not the fault of the instructor or indeed the student but just the way the brain works.

Driving for one or two lessons a week is not only costly and time consuming; it is also highly frustrating when you have forgotten what you did the week before. Go Go Go intensive uses new, do, review and chew methods based on Kolb’s sliding styles of learning. Everything stays fresh in your mind as there are no gaps between lessons, giving you the confidence to take your test quickly.

How soon can I take my test?

You should be ready to take your practical test after your intensive course. Your DSA approved driving instructor will highlight any weaknesses which we can work on during the week of your intensive course. You can book the practical test yourself on the DSA web site and we recommend that you also book the driving instructor and the same car that you used for your intensive course. We have negotiated very favourable rates for students, once they have finished their Go Go Go Intensive course.

How can I reduce the practical test waiting time?

If you are in a hurry you may wish to use our fast track booking facility as we have bookers committed to reducing the driving test waiting time dramatically. However, to use this service you must be signed off by your DSA approved driving instructor as test ready, as your test may be sooner than you think.

How much?

Like most businesses we have peak demand periods where our costs are higher or lower depending on the time of the year. You can check our pricing by going to the ‘book now’ button on the home page of our web site where you can book and pay online. Alternatively, you can call our booking office in Peterborough on 01733 314151 between 9.00am and 5.00pm to speak to us personally.

Our Pledge

We are so confident that our courses equip you with adequate driving skills that should you be unfortunate and not pass either your Theory or practical test then we will provide corrective lessons absolutely free. We believe that we cannot be any fairer than that.

How will you look after me after I pass my test?

When you gain your full driving licence you have demonstrated that you have achieved the minimum benchmark standard of driving required by law. Statistically, you are at your highest risk of being involved in an accident, serious injury or road death in the first two years of gaining your driving licence. Young drivers are involved in a huge proportion of road casualties, due to a combination of inexperience and a tendency of many young people to take risks. One in eight licence holders in Britain is under 25, yet one in four fatal and serious injury crashes involves a driver in this age group.

Andy McManus our Director of Training was Head of Collision Investigation for Lincolnshire Police and an Advanced Road Death Senior Investigating Officer. In one year alone he investigated 78 roads deaths. Statistics suggest that with initial advanced training nearly all could have been avoided. Our interest in you does not end after you have paid your course fee and gained your driving licence, it goes much further than that. We aim to take you much further than the minimum standard during your 5 days with us.
